OCHOA imparts advanced training for dentists Russian at the University of Voronezh

Doctor Ochoa Valdés participated in a training session aimed at professionals, clinicians and teachers, held at the University of Voronezh, in Russia.

In the conference room of the main building of the NN Burdenko Academy of Medical Sciences, Dr. Ochoa held a study club under the title “Upper jaw with severe atrophy. Zygomatic implants as a treatment option »with which he presented different alternatives in implant treatments using non-invasive surgical techniques and showed images of five real cases.

Dr. Ochoa's presentation reported on the state of the art for surgical rehabilitation using osseointegrated implants and its application in treatments that seek complete and minimally invasive rehabilitation, demonstrating with cases recently treated by Ochoa the high predictability of this type of solution.

During the study club session, the attendees, including practicing professionals as well as students and future graduates, were able to contrast the rehabilitation approaches, as well as exchange impressions and experiences with other cases applied to real patients.

En las conclusiones, los participantes valoraron el valor práctico de la formación y la visión global que aporta la experiencia internacional del Dr. Ochoa, quien fue invitado a plantear otros study clubs en futuro.

Other topics presented by national and international experts were addressed in the training session, such as Dr. Shalaev's presentation on the use of osteoplastic materials in advanced rehabilitations, or the presentation of diagnostic techniques for the treatment of apical periodontitis given by Dr. Nekrylov.
